The Brewery Park is located right opposite the old Prince’s Brewery at 2 Katowicka Street. The park is well-known for its historic Baroque palace founded by the Promnitz Family, dukes of Pszczyna, in 1685. It was the first stone building in Tychy.

The shape of the graduation tower resembles the building of the Tychy City Hall that was designed in the shape of the letter Y.

The brine tower has a wooden structure filled with blackthorn twigs. The side walls are 69 m long and 6.7 m high. The brine tank has a capacity of 100 cubic meters. There are benches next to the graduation tower, where residents can rest and relax. The micro-climate around the graduation towers has a positive effect on our health and is used to treat, among others, allergies and thyroid disease.

The brine particles that crash on blackthorn twigs, just like sea waves, create a specific micro-climate that acts as a natural inhaler. According to the official information, the brine in the graduation tower in Tychy comes from the Ustroń Health Resort. The Devonian thermal brine from Ustroń has been extracted for over 30 years from a depth of 1700 m. It is an iodide-bromine-chloride brine, its inhalation is great when treating respiratory diseases and ailments. The healing water tower is open until the end of October.

Park Niedźwiadków - Little Bears Park – is known to every little resident of Tychy. The bears, as a decorative element, were made by the famous local sculptor Augustyn Dyrda. In fact, the architect planned installing only one bear sculpture. However, the sculptor made three little bears, to be on the safe side. Marian Łatak, the director of the Construction of Workers' Housing Estates, liked all the sculptures, and thus, the selection competition was cancelled. That is why in 1962 three bear cubs were placed on the square, and they quickly became one of the icons of Tychy. In 2008, the teddy bears were renewed, and in 2018 a competition for their names was announced. The standing bear was called Tysia, the middle one was called Misia, and the sitting bear was called Gutek. Here in the park, there is not only a square with sculptures, but also a fountain and a playground.

We still have to visit the Aquapark of Tychy. It has many attractions both for kids and for grownups such as several slides, bathing pools and an outside beach.
